Senior/Postdoc – Laser-Driven Plasma X-ray Sources Are you excited about working with one of the world’s most advanced high-power laser facilities and contributing to the next generation of X-ray source development? ELI Beamlines is looking for an experienced and motivated researcher to join our international team focused on laser-plasma interaction, advanced X-ray source development, and innovative scientific applications. You will work in a unique international research environment with access to cutting-edge femtosecond laser systems and collaborate with scientists and engineers from around the world. What will you do? • Operate and support the Cu tape K-alpha X-ray source during user experiments • Develop new laser-driven plasma X-ray sources and related technologies • Participate in the development and implementation of high-energy laser beam transport systems • Support international users and collaborate on advanced scientific experiments • Explore new applications of X-ray technologies in science and industry • Publish scientific results and participate in international conferences What are we looking for? • Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering, Laser Science, Materials Science, or a related field • Experience with X-ray methods, laser-plasma interaction, or high-power laser systems is an advantage • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent English communication skills • Ability to work independently as well as within an international multidisciplinary
